Not long ago we moved to a small Greek village. With its stunning beaches and breathtaking views, this beautiful locale attracts thousands of tourists every summer.
And, sadly, every summer village locals are faced with domesticated dogs that are left behind and abandoned by tourists. These dogs are helpless and cannot fend for themselves. They are frequently attacked, injured by vehicles, or simply starve. A few good folks in our area have taken it upon themselves to save stray and abandoned dogs. They do so at their own expense and without any financial support.
To help them care for these dogs and dozens of stray dogs in our area, we invested in producing an inspirational coloring, journaling, and vision-board book. We commissioned a talented young artist who is attempting to establish her own business as an illustrator. The proceeds of this book will be donated to the selfless villagers who rescue local dogs, and help assist with purchasing food and supplies, building more shelter space, and paying for veterinary care
and treatment.
